How to set up and use GTM Click IDs with Contractor Commerce

What are GTM Click IDs?

These are specific identifiers used within Google Tag Manager to track click events on elements inside a website. When a user (your customer) clicks on a particular element (button, link, image, etc), GTM can be configured to capture and track that specific interaction.  We have set up click IDs to trigger on a few specific interactions in the filter store. These IDs are what should trigger when their respective action is taken within the store and should be visible with Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixel:

 

  • product-click
  • service-click
  • auto-delivery-switcher
  • add-product-to-cart
  • add-service-to-cart
  • auto-delivery-modal-apply
  • auto-delivery-modal-decline
  • proceed-to-checkout (button on Cart Review page)
