Conversion Report

This report helps you track where your website traffic comes from — and how that traffic performs all the way through to conversion. It's perfect for evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns, partnerships, or ad placements.

You’ll see how many visitors came from each source, how many became leads, and how many ultimately placed an order.

How to Track Traffic Sources

To attribute sessions to specific traffic sources, add a ?referrer= parameter to any inbound link. This allows you to tag links from emails, ads, or partner sites with a recognizable label.

How to use:

  1. Append this to your link:
    ?referrer=source
    Replace source with anything meaningful (e.g., facebook_ad_1, newsletter_may, partner_steven)

  2. The parameter must come after the hash (#) in your URL:

    bash
    CopyEdit
    https://example.com/shop#/?referrer=facebook_ad_1

What the report shows:

  • Referrer: The source tag you applied (e.g., "email_campaigns")

  • Total sessions: Visitors who came in with that referrer tag

  • Sessions that became leads

  • Orders placed from that source

  • Win %, Lost %, and Pending %: Shows how far each referrer drives users into the funnel

To use this report:

  1. Add the ?referrer= parameter to any campaign links

  2. Wait for traffic to roll in

  3. Visit this report to see how each traffic source performs

  4. Use Export CSV to save or share your results

🧠 Tip: Great for A/B testing — create unique referrer tags for different email subject lines, ad variations, or social posts to see which performs best.

Coupons Usage

If you’ve created custom coupon codes for your store, this report tracks how often each one has been used. It’s a simple way to monitor the effectiveness of your promotions and discounts.

What it shows:

  • Label: Internal name or description of the coupon

  • Code: The coupon code your customers enter at checkout

  • Times Used: Number of times the code has been applied

To use this report:

  1. Search for a specific coupon by name or code

  2. Sort the list by Times Used to see which promotions are most effective

  3. Click Export CSV to download your usage data

💡 Tip: Use this report to compare performance across campaigns, and to identify underperforming codes that might need re-promotion or replacement.

Subscription Failures

When one of your customers sets up a subscription for filters or services, they’re billed automatically at the cadence they selected. If a payment fails, for example, due to an expired or declined card, it will appear in this report.

What it shows (when failures occur):

  • Customer name, email, and phone number

  • Subscription ID

  • Date of the failed attempt

  • Reason for the failure (e.g., card expired, insufficient funds)

To use this report:

  1. Select your date range

  2. Use the search bar to find a specific customer or subscription

  3. Reach out to the customer using the contact info provided

  4. Click Export CSV to download the list if needed

Tip: A blank report (like this one) means everything’s running smoothly, no failed payments to follow up on. If nothing appears, double-check your date range.

Credit Card Expirations

This report shows all customers with a credit card that has expired on file for an active subscription — whether it's for filters or services. If a card is expired, the subscription will eventually fail unless the customer updates their payment method.

What it includes (if results exist):

  • Customer name, email, and phone

  • Address

  • Expiration date

  • Last 4 digits of the card

Use this to proactively reach out to customers before their subscription potentially fails.

🔁 Note: Think of this as a “heads up” version of the Subscription Failures report above. Both work together to help keep recurring orders flowing.

User Audit Logs

This report tracks every action taken inside the dashboard by users on a contractor’s account. It helps review who did what and when, especially for troubleshooting or monitoring internal processes.

Common uses:

  • See who changed pricing, settings, or product configurations

  • Track updates to orders, subscriptions, or customer records

  • Audit changes made by new team members

What it includes:

  • User name and role

  • Action performed

  • Timestamp

  • Original Data

  • Edited Data

Use this to ensure accountability and maintain a clear record of all activity across the account.

ServiceTitan Logs

This report only applies to contractors who have integrated Contractor Commerce with ServiceTitan.

It provides a log of all data successfully pushed into ServiceTitan from Contractor Commerce including:

  • New customer records

  • Bookings (i.e., lead submissions)

  • Estimates

  • Any other ST sync attempts

You’ll also see any errors or failures, which can help troubleshoot integration issues or confirm whether data synced properly.

Use this report to verify sync activity and ensure your ServiceTitan account reflects your Contractor Commerce activity. If you see any issues, please let your Account Manager know ASAP.
