How do I create Bookings in ServiceTitan from Leads in Contractor Commerce?

Now that you have established a connection between Contractor Commerce and ServiceTitan you can enable features to push certain pieces of information from Contractor Commerce directly to your ServiceTitan!

 

This section will cover ServiceTitan Bookings. You will need to have a meeting with your Account Manager to ensure everything is configured correctly before proceeding.


What action creates a lead?

The only way Contractor Commerce will generate a lead that turns into a booking in your ServiceTitan account is when one of your customers fills your System Quote Journey past the point of email collection.

Be aware that duplicate Journey submissions do not become leads and are always automatically disputed so you are not charged. These will not send a booking into ST.

 

 

The lead is then sent into the leads section of your Contractor Commerce Dashboard.

All the fields shown in the Lead will push into a booking inside ServiceTitan. 


 

What features can I control in the Contractor Commerce Dashboard?

There are a few items required along with some optional items you can configure in the Contractor Commerce Dashboard.

Navigate to Settings > Integrations > ServiceTitan > Leads > Bookings to toggle the items below:

  1. Choose which Journey these settings will apply for
    1. If you have multiple Journeys, you can have different settings for each one
    2. Select the Journey from the drop down and proceed


  2. Select a Job Type for new bookings 
    1. Which ST Job Type would you like on leads we send over?
    2. Select from the dropdown and proceed

  3. Select a Campaign for new Bookings
    1. Which ST Marketing Campaign would you like on leads we send over?
    2. We recommend creating a "Contractor Commerce" marketing campaign so you can track all the jobs 
    3. Select from the dropdown and proceed

  4. Select a Business Unit ID for New Bookings
    1. Which ST Business Unit would you like on leads we send over?
    2. Remember that all of these can be changed in ST after we send the lead. Nothing set in stone!

  5. Update lead status + earnings from ServiceTitan
    1. This feature is in Beta. Please consult your Account Manager before activating

  6. Create / Update a Booking when an Appointment is Scheduled
    1. We recommend having this toggled on
    2. When your customer selects the appt time, it will update the booking generated inside ST with that information.

  7. Import text from Job Summary to the Booking Summary
    1. When this option is enabled, our system will add text from the selected Job Type (above) to the summary of each new booking.

    2. This can be used to pre-populate workflows for your team to follow when they interact with the customer. This text comes from the Summary field on each Job Type from inside ServiceTitan.


 

Where will the booking land inside of ServiceTitan?

  1. In your ServiceTitan account click Calls > Bookings 
  2. The booking should have any of the criteria above that you activated such as:
    1. Campaign
    2. Business Unit
  3. Bookings will need to be approved inside of ServiceTitan before they push over to the Dispatch board by clicking Accept on the Booking
  4. Once you click Accept you will be prompted to check all the details and edit any of the necessary fields before pushing it over to the Dispatch Board
